The Dallington Golf Society Overseas Tour has grown out of the yearly ex-Captains event and has now become an eagerly anticipated annual trip. Credit for this is totally due to the hard work, dedication, and especially patience, of Kevin Stowe-on-the-world who has organised all five of the tours that we have so far enjoyed.  For 2010 Tony (Faldo) Farrow has taken over the baton and will be our new impresario. As you can see on the left he is taking this new and heavy responsibility very, very seriously. Leaning just a little bit on Kevin he has come up with a mouth watering golfing package for this year's tour of which details are given below.

The Golf
This year we will be venturing over to Portugal to play two fantastic courses - San Lorenzo and Pinheiros Altos.

Accommodation and Costs
Accommodation will be in the four-star Formosa Park luxury resort apartment hotel set in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and close to our two golf courses. It overlooks the sea, has a large swimming pool, and of course, excellent bars and restaurants. Take a look: www.formosapark-hotel.com/
Basic Package. Includes four nights acommodation, breakfast, 3 rounds of golf, gala presentation meal, airport and golf transfers - all at the unbelievable price of £239.
This price is per person for 4 golfers sharing a 2-bedroom apartment
Enhanced Package. As Basic Package but only 2 golfers share a 2-bedroom apartment at a price of £325 per person.

Flights, Transport and Transfers
Each person on the tour is responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights. It is recommended that you book the flights highlighted below in order than you can link up with the transfers provided.
The airport transfer at Faro is arranged to pick-up golfers arriving on the easyJet flight No. 2017 from Luton departing 11.35 on 12th October and the return transfer to Faro will take people travelling on the easyJet flight No. 2018 departing Faro on 16th October at 3.45 PM.
Both courses are 5/10 mins from the hotel and Vilamoura Marina is approx 10/15 mins away by taxi.
Booking
In order to reserve your place on this year's Tour, members will require to pay a deposit of £100. Also, to ensure that all flight arrangements are in place you should also book your flight when you pay your deposit. If you want to use the transfers provided then you must book the flights listed above.
